We love educating people about their eyes, especially children and their parents. Understanding what is happening with your child’s eyes can be confusing. We want to help you understand. Bring your questions and we will help you and your child see more clearly.
It can be daunting to bring a child under 3 anyplace where there is expensive equipment but rest assured, we love kids and know how to work with them.
If we are meeting your child for the first time, we will ask the following questions to help us determine the best next steps:
– Is your child experiencing eye problems currently?
– Has your child had eye problems in the past?
– Does your child wear glasses or are they eligible for day-use contacts?
– Are you satisfied with your child’s current eyewear?
– Do you have any health problems we should be aware of?
Your child’s eye exam will be painless and typically involve the following:
– Review of medical history & vision problem they may be experiencing.
– Measurement of visual acuity to determine need for glasses or contacts.
– Eye pressure is measured and assessed.
– Different lights and tools are used to evaluate the front and inside of the eye.
Children can be hard on glasses or too young for day-use contacts. Never fear. All of our premium glasses are backed by our exclusive “Two Years, No Questions Warranty” and we pride ourselves in offering frames from the best names in the industry. Whatever your budget, we’ll make sure your child gets the look and durability you want and expect.
