Meet The Staff

Dr. David Jones, O.D.

Dr. Jones attended the University of Utah from 1990-1994. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri/St Louis School of Optometry in 1998 and started Advanced Family Eyecare in 1996 so he take more time with patients and practice optometry in a way that he found more fulfilling.

David grew up in the shadow of Mount Nebo in Mona, Utah. He married the love of his life, Maurie, in 1990. He is the father of four beautiful and kind daughters and grandfather to one amazing grandson. David enjoys hiking the mountain and fly fishing the streams of Utah. He loves being an optometrist because he gets to spend his days talking with and helping his friends see more clearly.

Maurie Jones

Maurie lives in Mona, UT with her husband and youngest daughter. They have 3 other daughters, 3 son in laws and…..a new grandson which she thinks is the greatest thing ever. Maurie grew up in Las Vegas and South Jordan. She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping with her daughters, relaxing with a good book, and seeing the latest movie. She has loved working with her husband in their practice for the last 13 years. She loves meeting new patients and visiting with their existing patients and friends.

Margo Blue

Margo was born in Sacramento, California then moved to Coeur ‘d Alene, Idaho which is where she calls home. She has lived in Payson for the last 14 years. She has 4 kids, 3 still at home. Spending time with her little family playing games and laughing is what brings her joy.

Having a background in the Banking industry and given her a keen eye for detail. Margo has worked for Advanced Family Eyecare for 8 years and loves it. Coming to work everyday and seeing our patients that have become friends and family is what puts a smile on her face.
